The Orion Project update from Osmond really caught my attention. Outcrop samples came back with strong grades of rutile, zircon, hafnium, and rare earths - a solid start and not something you see every day at surface.
It hints at serious potential if that continuity carries through. What makes it even more interesting is the bigger picture. Europe is under pressure to build its own supply of critical raw materials, with new legislation setting ambitious targets for local sourcing.
That puts projects like Orion in the spotlight, especially as industries look to reduce their reliance on China. The real test will come with the upcoming drill program. If grade and scale hold across the outcrops, this could quickly shape into a strategic asset.
The timing feels right too, as Europe is actively backing projects that strengthen regional supply chains. It’s still early days, but from a supply chain and market dynamics perspective, this has the ingredients to become a serious player. I’ll be watching closely to see how things develop.
