    All seems pretty quiet on the western front, as everyone waits to see what happens from 15 September. In the absence of any other exciting news, anyone interested to speculate what will happen 1 month, 3 months or 6 months after the buy back starts?

    Clearly the buy back should put a floor under the share price, but how high will that floor be? They are under no obligation to buy any amount (so could technically buy none), only a maximum of 10% over a year.

    I suspect they will have a target price in mind they wouldn't want to purchase over...
