I read that Mr Woodward's spread is a meagre 3,000 hectares at Wrattonbully, and at a rough valuation of $15,000/hectare, that would value his holdings at $45m. He will be but one of the many wealthy local landholders who are unlikely to be happy of the prospect of AR3 strip mining their prime paddocks for clay to turn into R.E. concentrates. The location of the Koppamurra project on prime agricultural land is just one of many fatal flaws in the Koppamurra proposal IMO.
