mmm trade between china and indonesia is doing remarkably well ...from memory, australia is not mentioned in the following video.. anyway.. trade between china and australia is also going remarkably well .. just amusing that indonesians can buy fresh chinese produce (as per the video)

the above video refers a bit to the cost of machinery .. and mentions the cost of a Cat D8 ... mm guess what - but the GREAT FATSO WATSO used to work a lot with machinery .. and could easily operate a Cat D8..

anyway, there is a lot of mining in Indonesia .. and chinese mining equipment is a fraction of the price of american equipment ..

watso has no idea what is being used in australian mining these days .. but watso is long in the tooth - but recalls when TOE JOES (ie Toyotas ) replaced english made landrovers for site vehicles .. that would have been a result of the japanese being involved in the iron ore mines (both as partners and buyers) ...

(lol lol forget the toyotas .. there was a thriving trade of smuggled japanese SEIKO watches which sold for a fraction of a legal watch .. watso bought three of them )

mmm watso almost forgot .. but what about australia??? well Indonesia is a part of Brics .. and watso cannot be bothered explaining the geopolitical significance of the relationship ... suffice to say that australia's best interests would be served by being totally neutral and cut ties with usa
