I have no problem with Strachan or others charging for research, or the companies paying for it. Otherwise it's hard for small companies to get coverage, and there are plenty of good analysts outside the big broking houses.

I just object to the title on the ASX screen " Independent Research Report ". Fair enough MYG discloses that it commissioned the report in its announcement, but why refer to Strachan as "independent". Independent of what exactly ?

This comment is not aimed at any analyst at all, but I just find it hard to understand how someone can be called independent when they are paid to do the report.

Let's face it, just like turkeys don't vote for Christmas, companies don't pay for negative views on themselves, do they ?
