To all intents and purposes there will be no impact [detrimental anyway] on tourism.
The poster describing rotten egg gas is alarmist and out of touch.
I am a tourism operator in the Tamar Valley. I and most of my Association colleagues embrace the change and look forward to it.
Forgetting all other arguments [as you did home in specifically on tourism] it will not be harmful. It is about time the people here stopped fearing change for change's sake.
They have to come out of the dark ages, even if it kickng and screaming to embrace the jobs, tourism increase, spending in small Centres [GeorgeTown will boom], housing increases, huge positive ripple effects to employment, more money in Gov't coffers, etc.
Love the Mill for itself or hate it the economic and social impacts and improvements will be extensive.
Tourism getting hurt NO!!!
From all facets, not just tourism which I have a vested interest in- we can't wait. BRING IT ON!!!
