How is it 'safer' when it is the highest producing CO2 emission fossil fuel?
How many more natural disasters have been caused by global warming than nuclear power disasters?
It's just that CO2 caused disasters are not as observable as a nuclear disaster.
Coal is not good full stop...it's just that it's cheap and there is plenty of it. That is what makes it attractive as a fuel.
It's like saying a grenade is safer than a landmine.
