Yeah, and betamax was magnificent technology too yet the punters bought vhs. For those too young to know betamax and vhs were videotape recording technologies. Beta, by Sony, was widely regarded as the best thing since sliced bread and superior to vhs.
My point being all the awards and critical acclaim matter diddlysquat if we (CFU) can't make something enough people want. I'm tired of reports with a sentence like "Your board and management continues to be frustrated by the level of sales etc". I suspect I'll be seeing this, or a variant of it, again in the March report.
We could be at the point where we have to ask,
do we have the right technology? if so, is it the right time for our technology? do we have the right people to transition us from R&D to manufacturing?
If the answer is no to any of those then I fear little upside for the faith and money invested here. I'll stay with this one a bit longer but can't be uncritical of the company's performance.
