Head, if it's fact, I don't think that can be called belittling? I see it is the most probable scenario. Those supporting it most likely think they will be spared from it.
I can't imagine too many working people who will be slugged will in any way support it.
Not when you know that Australia's emmissions are just over 1% of the world emmissions, any tax we impose will hurt families but do peanuts for carbon.
