Been holidaying around the country and been 2 QLD, Perth and Melbourne/Sydney recently. Gobsmacked at what I am seeing on the ground floor.

It is like the economy that once was a big breathing beast can barely let out a whimper - It cannot even breath. It is looking absolutely hammered over debted over brought and too expensive. The easy 100$ notes out of the wallet for the jeweller for the watch for the new pair of shorts are no more.

As we push push and push our own agenda the truth is for me at least that we are hitting a real dark patch. We are constantly being told inflation is low, property is about to boom that the economy is beginning its second leg up. What absolute tripe!

I am looking for the beast to take a breath but it is not happening. It is laying there starved with no more injections to pump in. Shopping centres are deserted all over the place. Retail is being smacked and will get worse imo.

Dark times ahead for retail and property from what I have witnessed first hand. For sale signs everywhere.

Where to folks, anyone for pass the parcel, Julia?
