A couple of thoughts on potential of CNF concrete. Agree that initially for standard concrete projects, the CNF mix may not be economic but I can see that with CNF concrete we could have higher multi-storey buildings. Standard concrete will be used up to today's height and then they will change to CNF concrete to go even higher. Another possibility could be for concrete bridges to have greater spans thereby reducing the number of support columns required, thereby offsetting the higher cost of the CNF concrete.
