    zwu, jumping to conclusions there. My meaning is that survival of GNS as an entity will mean they have not been taken over. Build a pulp mill and they will eventually be swallowed up by the JV partner.

    Although it had a modest MIS business since 2000 (unlike the early 1990s for the others), GNS was a very different business to GTP, FEA and TIM. GTP, FEA and TIM were pretty much solely MIS businesses: for GNS MIS was a Johny come lately that wasn't ever its main revenue source. It was always a MIS minnow compared to GTP and TIM.

    That's why GNS has survived and the others failed.
