I am always flattered when people consider my posts threatening enough to need to counter them.

But really, the people you insult are all the intelligent ESG investors who can think for themselves. These people are not blindly led by me like the Pied Piper. They read widely and understand the high strategic value of ESG.

So, of course, I am going to draw some fire. But the thing you cannot get out of people's minds are the IDEAS. Those threatening ideas that many people do want to take hold:

    - That Santos wants and needs to acquire ESG
    - Companies do not spend half a billion dollars without wanting a benefit from it.
    - That there is multi-party interest in ESG's gas. And yes, the Japanese are part of 'multi'. And will be the QLD projects
    - That ESG has a high strategic value, and will go up the foodchain not at a premium to the existing price, but on the basis of a price per GJ of their gas.
    - That gas acquired to support the 3rd and 4th trains can be done profitably at a higher price than gas acquired for trains 1 and 2, due to their higher profit margin.
    - There will be an auction for ESG.

These are the threatening ideas that people have worked out for themselves. They do not need to be led to them like mice.

So perhaps realise that whilst you insult me (which is fine), you insult the intelligence of the many, many ESG supporters who can work these things out for themselves.

Yaq (the Pied Piper of No One)
