irrational?

There is clearly an unfolding disaster in one part of Japan which is a tragedy, but IMO the market reactions seems pretty irrational at the moment.

The issues are localised to Japan and their will be some flow on effect to other world economies, but that doesn't appear to be reflected in some of the indiscriminate selling I'm seeing on screen.
