Dr. Stephen Meyer holds a Bachelor of Science in physics and earth science from Whitworth College and a Ph.D. in the philosophy of science from Cambridge University, where he also earned an M.Phil. He also has a background in geophysics, working for Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) after college before pursuing his graduate studies in the history and philosophy of science.

  Graduated in 1981 with a B.S. in Physics and Earth Science, graduating cum laude.
• Cambridge University:

  Earned an M.Phil. in 1987 and a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science in 1991. His doctoral dissertation focused on origin-of-life research.

• Geophysicist:

  Meyer worked for Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO) as a geophysicist from 1981 to 1985.
