This will pass in weeks to come as Japan recovers from the disaster. ATM, its a huge paper loss in my books and it is just that. IMO, it will rebound, but for the moment, fear is at high noon.
From AVB angle, nothing has changed. They are still drilling and we are still waiting for announcement. The difference is the SP which is heavily discounted from a week or two ago.
I may be in damage control on paper loss, but its no way near to what them Japs encountered. This will pass like all massive natural disasters....Indonesia Tsunami, Earthquakes / floods in China, Cyclones in QLD, Earthquakes in NZ, and non natural disasters - Chernobyl,Iraq War, GFC1,etc to name a few.
Only time will recover SP across the boarse. There may be huge swings in SP over ther coming weeks. Short term traders are licking their lips. This is where money can be made.
