Long Game

I invested in this stock in July 2020. It has had its ups and downs. I remember the spike with the anticipation of Tesla's Battery Day only for it to slide back down to earth over the next week. At this time, Novonix was still trying to prove its product was viable and its quality appropriate for car batteries.

I have always known this stock came with risks. However, I have also monitored the direction of economies and energy and this is leading to a world that is powered by batteries.

My goal, my hope, 5 years ago, was that the momentum would accelerate us towards economies and energy systems powered by batteries. There have been set backs along the way. I also wondered about some of the moves by Novonix and questioned my assessments when the inner circle was selling stock at these low prices while I held out for a big payday.

Nevertheless, I have held my investment in this battery company. And I have never been more excited about the prospects of this company. Governments are investing 10 figure sums into it; international players such as Panasonic are associating their products with Novonix; the facility is built. The company is committed to deliveries in the next 3-4 months with mass production in the next 12 months and a second facility in the works to add volume.

Yes, I am excited for the future of Novonix. While my friends brag about jumping in and out of stock and making a few grand here and a few grand there. I sit silently anticipating what will happen when Novonix hits full production capacity and I am expecting this soon. After more than 5 years, soon can be by the end of this year, end of next year or 2027. But I am confident in what is coming.
