Thanks. Obviously, may all be good for Fukushima although the country has mass devestation even if the reactors were all un touched. Same for N Africa and Middle East.
I have to admit, Woolworths helps me sleep at night.
Just a side note for Woolworths in Ellenbrook WA.
When we moved here in 2007 it was the biggest store in WA. Then it lost the title. But who cares? It was an impressive store. Only major in Ellenbrook, they got 100% customers besides a little IGA(NOT Progressive type) and ALL the fuel with Caltex. I have to admit, considering the 'monopoly' they always were cheap. They also own the shopping centre which was built bigger than required for the covenent covering population increase. Great move in hindsight.
Well, today is grand opening. The shopping centre just completed a massive expansion with Big W added, Coles, Dick Smith's and about 25 other shops. Woolworths spent a massive fortune on Woolworths, new this and that, check outs, ovens, fresh produce given the 'country look' and pushed the store out a few aisles(back to the BIGGEST in WA). Truely impressive their committment to kick Coles down.

Someone mentioned their SP is the same as 2yrs ago. I can name heaps of BIG bluechips who are down heaps on mid 2009 prices and pay none or piddly dividends.

I realise companies drop approaching ex dividend date but why? It's obvious some profit is going back to the SH so I'm 'lost' with the psychological behind it. I would expect a drop if NO dividend was being payed. Guess it's all part of the trading game, any sentiment to pick up stock cheaper.
