re Tiof and the M govt wanting in but not having cash.
I imagine the JV will have been spending some time strategising this one. After being blindsided by Sterling on Ching I expect they are working through preemptive options that would allow them to retain the control that they need to make Tiof work best for the JV but at the same time allow the M Govt in but on JV terms.
I recall that Kahuna1 alluded to this in some of his earlier posts. One thought being that there could be some form of horse trading whereby say the M govt doesn't have to stump up the 150% cash for initial drilling but may end up with less than a 12% stake or alternatley may give concessions on some of the hand back terms.
No doubt an interesting challenge for Mr Potter to cut his teeth on
