While I have no wish to speak ill of Charlie, he is no less a symptom of this age than the woke insanity he railed against. When one becomes political you immediately distance yourself from all those with alternate political views. As it is the roll of religion to bring about human unity it is impossible to then serve two masters, Jesus and politics.

There is nothing on God's earth that will ever and can ever revitalise Christianity. It has had 2000 years to get to this point and his hopes for Christian Nationalism and evangelical Christianity to take hold of the 'seven mountain mandate' fantasy is utterly pointless. There are no medicines to be found in Christianity to deal with this version of the world.

The US system produces a lot of Charlie Kirks and their gun insanity will also remove a lot of Charlie Kirks. When a country has a voluntary voting system it necessitates people like Charlie Kirk to be confrontational so as to drum up and overcome the lethargy of potential voters. America is polarising and it will get a lot uglier before it gets any better and the polarising happens because of people like Kirk. While I may agree with many of his sentiments I do not agree with a system that sets people against each other, especially in such a volatile country as the US.

Fundamentalist, literal Christianity is not the answer as time will make abundantly clear.
