    thanks for that post ultimatum, i found it a little comforting.

    its hard to forecast the future ofcourse but my opinion is that this might make the uranium industry stronger and better (at least safer).

    governments across the globe are already reviewing their existing plants to assess the need for safety upgrades or rebuilding. china, india and the US have all stated publically that they want to learn from this and move forward with their nuclear plans. this takes care of long term demand.

    understandably the uranium price has dropped a little but no where near as much as the uranium stocks on the asx. yesterdays spot was 66USD. PDN held a tele conference yesterday and announced they bellieve the uranium price will return to 'pre-earthquake' levels in Q2 or Q3. of course they have self interest in saying so but i think its representative of market sentiment.

    personally i think the only way out of this mess is to buy more uranium stocks, blr and others.
