Sydney - Wednesday - March 2: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Copper Strike Limited reports assay results have been received from
drillholes END 03 to END 06 at the Einasleigh project in North
Queensland.
Best results were: END 04 - 15m at 4.39% Cu from 253m - 10m at
3.65% Cu from 279m END 06 - 50m at 6.65% Cu from 235m.
Six diamond drill holes in the last 3 months have targeted
mineralisation down plunge from the early 1900's Einasleigh Copper Mine.
Copper Strike is currently completing downhole EM on the
relevant drillholes which will be instrumental in targeting future
drilling, due to start in late March.
At the present time, the true width, extent and attitude of the
body of copper sulphide mineralisation beneath the Einasleigh Copper
Mine are still unknown due to structural complexity and the lack of
adequate drill and geophysical information collected to date.
The mineralisation appears to be plunging to the south or
southwest.
The plan and sections in the accompanying figures represent the
current knowledge of the geometry of the deposit.
On completion of the downhole EM survey, large loop surface EM
coverage will be extended to help trace this highly conductive deposit
to the south, where the bulk of the tonnage potential is interpreted to
lie.
The drill rig is presently drilling 9 holes on the exciting
Kaiser Bill prospect that is 8 km away.
