Last month, I visited their store at ION on Orchard. It was on one of the higher floors, with minimal foot traffic. The store had no one coming in for about a 30 minute period. Location may be expensive but for a brand seeking to compete with Coach and the like, it is crucial. As I have said before, I think in Singapore and Asia, you need a celebrity to sell your material.
