The field test is scheduled to last about two years in total and aims to determine whether the technology is ready for the market. The BlueGen fuel cell has an electrical output of about 1.5 kW (thermal approx. 0.7 kW), an electrical efficiency of up to 60 percent, and is based on solid oxide fuel cell technology."
