    I have not read anything to do with the Lybian civil war, other than the lead articles of our daily rags, which means im am uninformed lol. T

    he first issue that needs to be clear is the reason for the UN intervention. Self interest to do with trade, commerce or political leverage etc, almost always are the motivation for one country to interfere in the govt of another. If this is the case here, as history would lead one to expect, then same old same old.

    On the slight chance there is a reason that might be termed altruistic it would be a tern up for the books. Certainly playing god is a big call, but in country's that ruled are by merciless dictators, more or less, how are the citizens ever going to have change without outside assistance ?
