Are we seriously discussing evaporation now?
The evap ponds for Cheetham Salt(about 100acres) have been around for decades with vast quantities of salt and gypsum coming out.
These ponds will be 700metres from MHM ponds.
Go outside after it rains in any state in Aust and watch it evaporate.
