Not new news but I don't recall this ever being posted here. I only became aware of it myself yesterday. Eskom, which generates 95% of South Africa's electric power, is now generating commercial UCG power and they are using Ergo UCG technology to do it. Ergo is CXY's technology partner. Here is further evidence supporting what Dex has been posting, that of the three UCG players in Australia, CXY is the only one with a PROVEN technology.

Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) - Co-firing into Majuba Power Station
On 28th October 2010 at 13:22, Eskom's UCG demonstration plant commenced delivery of gas to Unit 4 at Majuba Power Station. The gas is being co-fired with coal, and contributes 3MW to the unit's current electricity production of approximately 650MW. This is a historic occasion, as it marks the first production of commercial electricity from UCG gas outside of the former Soviet Union.
