    I thought the right hated gov debt...guess its only when Labor is in charge.

    PREMIER Colin Barnett's ambitious plan to deliver a stadium and a museum in his second term of government could require massive borrowings, leaving the state mired far deeper in debt than the Government has estimated, says Treasurer Christian Porter.
    In an exclusive pre-Budget interview, Mr Porter admitted the Liberal-National Government was struggling to cope with a massive infrastructure program, citing the stadium and museum as two future projects putting the state's finances under enormous pressure.

    Mr Porter said that if, as forecast, the commonwealth cut back its GST payments to WA, the Liberal-National Government would be forced to cut back its infrastructure program or borrow more money, which would add to the $20 billion debt already forecast for 2014
