It has been well publicised(naturally) but did you know that 10% on any carbon tax we pay will go to the UN?
At a price of $25-$30 per ton we will be stung for about $11 billion, 10%= $1.1 billion to the UN probably to spend on world wide "pink bats"
Worse still, Mr. Combert (or whatever his name is) has ALREADY signed us up to it :(
Hopefully with Abbott's scheme we'll be spared the 10% to the UN.
Of course in a perfect world they'd drop all this carbon nonsense and prepare to adapt to what ever nature dishes out. Australia's carbon tax will solve nothing.
