Seems to be resolving itself quicker than I expected.
It seems that since the northern troops started their "assault" they have met little resistance so all this talk from Gbagbo was just that. He appears to have very little power left, especially with army and police units defecting to the recognised government.
The presidential guard won't be easy to break (unlike the rest of the country) but I doubt it will last heaps longer. The south of the country has fallen very quickly and soon there should be some political calm which will hopefully cause investors interest to return to RIA.
The tide may well be changing.
