One thing I've learned about investing is to never base your investment decisions on information that needs to be acquired by conversation rather than what companies will disclose in writing to the ASX. 'Don't ask the barber whether you need a haircut'!
Many many fund managers have a rule NOT to have contact with the company pre-investment because the risks outweigh the benefits.
Resources is a numbers game. You don't need to be onsite or have a relationship with the managers to calculate value. Siting drillcores might make you feel good, but has little to no impact on the resource modelling or calculations.
I'm not trying to denigrate your contribution to the forum which should be commended. Just an opinion!
