If someone comes along and tells me that he believes in God (referring to the God mentioned in his particular brand of religion), I would just hear him and that would be the end of the matter. It is not important to me if his God exists or not.
Religious belief is a very personal matter. Not believing in a religion is also a very personal matter. Each to his/her own.
