On a separate but related matter, so was former PM Rudd ahead of his time with looking at a resource type tax, albeit via a different mechanism? If other countries are now increasingly looking at introducing a form of resource tax, then from an Australian perspective it should make other Australian iron ore companies theoretically more attractive from an investment and hopefully be psoitively reflected via their sp overtime.
As for the African based resources industry, with potential attractive taxation incentives, I agree that this makes this region an even more appealing investment proposition. GL all...
