If the preparatory work HAD been thorough, as you claim, the deal would have been finalised quickly, as the company would have had all the answers. Instead, I suspect that their preparation hasn't been thorough enough, causing delays whilst they work on justifying some of the numbers or timelines.

The bulk testing is one case in point. It raises more questions than it answers. They would have been better off not doing it at all, rather than the way they have done it.
