You are exactly correct I am both.

I hold 5 or 6 stocks that I intend to hold for 2-3 years and hope to achieve the 10 bagger on at least one of them . I wont mention my core stock s here as i have mentioned 1 or 2 in the past and this wasnt the intent of my post as some thought .

In addition I watch around 10-15 stocks at any time , looking for a 1 week to 3 month trading opportunity , I usually looking for 10-40% return over short periods.

In nearly all cases I look for companies I like fundumentally , or a company that has had a specific event that in my opinion has created an opportunity .

MHM is one of these as I love what MHM is doing in the aliminium part of its business .

CDU was one I mentioned i traded in this forum at the time when it had a heavy price drop , and it did well for me , MEO was another I lost a significant amount on punting that they would strike oil , rather than strike out like they did .

You need traders in your stock , a stock without turnover is unattractive to anyone , and is best private.

Whilst it is a pain in the a.. people buying and selling your stock pushing it up and down , without traders , people like GO who takes a negative stance , you dont have a market .

As far as the placement is concerned I acknowledge they have stated tyhey dont want to dilute shareholders interests , I just dont buy it, my opinion is that the US is a definate chance of proceeding , if that is the case rhey will need money , and the banks in my view wont fund them at this stage of the process to the level they may need.
