I would reckon that if you own a BMW and drive it everyday- your opinion is likely to based on greater knowledge and first hand experience than someone who does not own one and simply watches them drive by...............past ownership also leaves your view outdated given improvements in new model releases.

So does driving one unless you buy the new model every year. Even if you own a BMW and drive it everyday it doesn't mean you know much about it. You might take it straight to the mechanic at the first sign of trouble whereas a non owner who knows a lot about cars could fix it himself.

your negative views on POH are just your views looking in from the outside.

I don't accept the assumption that my posts are always negative. Sometimes they may be, other times not, I've given praise to POH management on this forum if you care to look.




Have you ever spent time with POH management and listened to their plans and their passion for TPM?

Why do I need to? Jim Chanos never visited Enron before he got short in the face of wild bullishness on the stock. Interestingly those that were the most bullish, both shareholders and analysts, were quite cosy with management. Being close to management is not always an advantage.

Does anyone remember the BBI fiasco? Management were assuring investors everything was fine and shareholders vehemently disagreed with any negative comments? How about CCP, ABS?

It's great to sit down with management and discuss things but if you have no intention of being objective and only looking to reinforce pre-existing views than it is of little use.




Plenty of shareholders posting on this thread have visited POH and spent hours with management. They Own a BMW and know it inside and out......I therefore ascribe greater credibility to their postings than somebody with no skin in the game and no first hand ownership of the current "BMW" model range.


One of those shareholders has been found to plagiarize straight from the web and then fabricate evidence to support a bullish case for POH. If you want listen to those type of people, then be my guest, but don't even pretend to be the least bit objective.

Weren't some bullish shareholders saying there wouldn't be another cap raising last year?
