    Typical speccie stock, share price will go up marginaly on good ann. and rise sharply on excellent announcement.

    I find most speccie stocks (especially in these gas and oil plays) move up before good announcements are made on inside info. This, in combination with the sell on news crowd, is why stocks often don't rise much (or even drop) on good announcements.
