Sounds like selling half of a dead horse to buy half a HORSE that may be better.
But no doubt it has a certain appeal
BUT - Best Case - Worst Case
Doesn't seem to balance, 'cos keeping the one half of the Dead Horse could get messy, while half of something better would be frustrating.
SO - Get a new Horse
