"Farther east, Morning Star (MCO) has had initial success reviving the historic Wood's Point mine, last worked by Western Mining in 1959.
"The company recently smelted its first gold bar, having tackled a long list of commissioning issues. Wiseley though, management's not saying too much yet about gold recoveries until it masters the metallurgy."
