She has nominated that path IMO, rather than have been under any pressure to take it she regarded it as the best decision.
I don't like it and it's looking pretty bad due to the seriousness of it all. This is our blessed country to run - through you! - and at each election, we hope we are not giving the countries power over to an unwise Leader. Why does the qualifier have to be history? Why can't the darn Ministers make sure that a person of absolute integrity gets to the position of running for PM?
WE don't get to choose who runs our country, the relevant Parties do that, we vote for them, they vote for theirs and potentially the countries Leader.
Everyone on the PMs team has some responsibility therefore.
Its worth noting that WE did not remove Rudd either - the Party did, but not the people.
It's time that all government persons need to be placed under the spotlight and put on posterity and integrity checks waaaay before getting the chance to make executive decisions on behalf of a Land, Millions of its inhabitants and Businesses (in that order).
