I sold AQG last Tuesday at $9.10 after holding as AVO for many years. I'm happy to have made a tidy profit though I should have waited a few more days. However, I was getting increasingly uncomfortable feelings of deja vu as a one-time Bolniso Gold shareholder who saw his assets taken over by Coeur d'Alene of the US under the guise of a "merger". Once the head office moves offshore they tend to forget the Aussie shareholders. I could never see the synergy in the Avoca-Anatolia "merger".
Anyway, as of this morning I have put half my AQG proceeds into Gold Road Resources (GOR) as I believe, as a onetime Eastern Goldfields geologist, that it has a fascinating story and excellent prospects.
Good luck to all and I'm sure AQG will do well!
