You can start by contacting your super funds (assuming you are not all in SMSF's) and ask them if they invest sustainably? Many don't, but there also plenty who do. Tell them to start or you will switch super funds... and then just switch. That is what I did recently. Once people start switching they will get the message. Many of them get zero feedback on a day to day basis. Some of the more highly rated industry funds now offer a sustainability option. Don't just sit there thinking there is nothing you can do. There is plenty you can do.

Other suggestions - complain to 2GB about Alan Jones and complain to other radio stations about the shock jocks - they are meant to be presenting both sides of the climate change argument, at the very least, which they do not do. Alan Jones has even prresented incorrect facts, which he cannot do according the commercial radio code of practice which 2GB is regulated by. I have complained to 2GB and they must get back to me within a certain time. The particular broadcast in question by AJ was on 15th March and you must get your complaints in within 30 days or they become 'stale' and the station has no requirement to respond.

I started a Facebook group about this. I cant post a link on the GREENE forum if anyone is interested. So far there are only 6 people who like the group but you gotta start somewhere ;-)

Also, join protests for the carbon tax and talk to friends and family and convince the blue rinse set et al that campaigning against a carbon tax is not in the national or global interest.
