prima on the nasdaq - how much ?

in response to some really worthwhile and excellent commentary and posts on a previous thread, thought this issue would be ' worthy ' of a new string.

thanks Selj and PRR for your posts

( gotta love your ' call sign' PRR .... perhaps you've already put a hold on the personalised PRR number plates for the new vehicle ? )

The issue of PRR ( Prima on the ASX ) : PBMD ( Prima on the Nasqad ) has been previously discussed at great length on previous forums.

and you are definitely right .... the picture has changed rather sinificantly since the announced ' proposed listing ... PRR was somehere in the low 12's from memory.... market cap / share price have just over tripled since then

From the info provided in the PRR Investor updates ... and that's all we can objectively go on .... unless it's rumour, heresay or a leak ( and the ASX does not have any leaks ? ) t been stated that the ' likely ' ratio of PRR (ASX ) : PBMD ( Nasdaq ) will be 30 : 1

and from a ' discussion ' as posted previously on HC, MR ( Martin Rogers _ CEO ) has confirmed this will be the case

and the reasoning is quite sound , in paticular with today's share price (39.5c)

    From the Nasdaq web site....

" American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) and Other Listing Strategies
Many public offerings by non-U.S. companies are in the form of depositary receipts, usually as American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). "

" ... They generally are structured so that the trading price for a company?s ADR will be in the range of U.S. $10 to $30 "

... if Prima lists on the Nasdaq today for example, they should be around $ 11.80 US ( 30 x 39.5c ),

... which is precisely within the ADR structured trading price

Of note ... $4.50 is the minimum listing price for the Nasdaq

( if a company on Nasdaq falls below $1.50 it is basically told to ' bugger off ' and go to the OTC ' pink sheet ' listings, commonly for "penny stocks" )

back to the minimum listing price and Prima ....

... if you listed at the minimum listing price , you'd assume that it would be perceived in the US as a sign of weakness, would it not ?

Listing at $10 + would be better

... in the States they are more than ' comfortable' with shares in the high dollar ranges

.eg in the US ..... Apple (AAPL ) $ 335 .... Berkshire Hathaway Inc $81.80 .... Merck $ 33.60 and indeed in Aus NAB $ 27 CSL $36 etc etc

    in a nutshell ...

... it sensational that Prima is actually moving from the realms of the OTC 'penny stocks league' ..... into the ' big time' league on the Nasdaq

... and it should be priced accordingly so ...

... Prima IS worth something ... and more and more daily

.... and as to what that will eventually be .... who knows

... but youv'e gotta admit .... it is bloody exciting !!!
