If I was going to put serious long term money into partnership rights for an item like vitrogro and there was a trial nearing completion then I would wait for the trial to be complete as this would help justify my position.
It was all too easy for CEO to say the deal was not dependant on trial results ... that is just CEO hot air. The results are important .. in a commercial deal like this, important enough to wait for.
As whoami wrote, I also believe the CEO knew there would be a delay when he spoke to BS which is why he even mentioned "as late as August" to them in the first place.
The deal might be done before August but IMO not before the trial is complete. I suspect maybe 1 month after trial is complete.
