PTY: Smalley did become a Christian late in his life. The Genius of Christianity is that even the thief on the cross,crucified next to Christ, with just minutes or perhaps an hour or so of his life left was able to understand and believe.
As far as Creation goes I believe in a young earth. In the words of Smalley: ?The burden of proof is on those who don't believe that 'Genesis' was right, and there was a creation, and that Creator is still involved"...
