    Your diet wins because you included the Holy Grail, exercise!
    No offense Dub and Zeta but unless you have a medical metabolic condition or a psychological compulsive eating disorder it's simply a matter of energy input being greater than energy output. I am not suggesting you starve yourselves either, you seem to be doing a good job of that all on your own, which must be confusing your metabolic rate.
    I am not suggesting eating crap and then exercising it away. You have to maintain your internal plumbing. Looking great is one aspect but feeling great is priceless.
    Whilst exercising you will improve your heart, the engine room of your body. You will also enjoy some nature, if not in a gym, and reduce your stress levels(major killer). Another major benefit I find is that you feel elated that you made the effort to exercise, great confidence booster.
    Hey, I'm no fanatic, I skip exercise at times and indulge but physically look and feel better when I resume. I don't have a guilt factor about it. But, without being a martyr, I do have ONE major incentive, a Cardiac, this will
    soon jolt you into looking after yourself and exercising.
    Anyway, you sound like your having fun with the diet regime. Was not intended to offend. At least you're aware something needs to be done and that's gotta be a good thing. ;))
