The wells have to be drilled below 8000ft into brackish to saline ground water. This is the zone that other companies use for disposal of wastes eg oil/gas exploration.

I have no idea how long it will take to drill, but once approved I am sure (my level of knowledge) that they will be in place before uranium extraction is permited. -----------------------

V Canyon 20-2 Well spud on September 15th and reached total depth (TD) at 11,493? measured depth in the Wingate formation.The well had encountered a number operational and mechanical delays resulting in an extended drilling time of over 72 days compared to the expected 28 days.
So they drill to 11000ft and it took 72 days with problems instead of 28days.
