I was indeed referring to US shale gas - but also prospectors are beginning to look at tapping into CSG in China and Russia, and India has lots of coal which I would expect to be fruitful. So the US has a surplus right now I believe, and possibly the tech will soon be applied in Asia.

Not sure how much can be produced in Asia, and how supportive the Chinese government will be there of this industry - we know Russia will go for it - but there is lots of the stuff around. At least it ain't a waste product any more. If it can be piped rather than shipped - that reduces the value of shipped gas.
I agree that it is all systems go ATM - but sentiment could change quite quickly.
