It usually doesn't fall this way for me, but I sold some other stocks that had risen a bit, and had some spare cash for a change.
It's quite depressing when a large holder makes a decision to sell, apparently with no regard to fundamentals. It's bad enough having these sweetheart deals, let alone without them having a decent covenant so they can't sell and destabilise for several years. I'm sure this has annoyed the recent insto investors no-end.
This selling against the run of play will eventually lead to more aggressive upswings when the good news arrives and they are out finally of the picture.
They may well regret their cash-out.
