There was a professor on the ABC this morning from the UK who is an expert on Chenobyl, as she pointed out 25000 people have lost thier lives as a consequence on the Japan disaster (earthquake and Tsunami) a few as a result of the nuclear reactor and she predicts that there will be NO increase in cancers as a result of the radiation as the Japanese reacted by laying down iodine which combats and netralises radiation.

Also the Japanes have a high iodine diet (replendant I think she called it), so any radition will be netralised naturally.

Perspective.

As she pointed out the reactor is getting all the media attention and the loss of 25000 lives in the quake and the consequent affect of the Japanese people, has been ignored
